Thinking about jumping on this (selling the COD W@W for a better deal since I already have it on 360). Stupid question, though. I've currently got a 8400 GS in my PCI-Express and I have an older Shuttle board. Is the PCI-E 2.0 specification backwards compatable with 1.0? (I'm assuming that mine is not 2.0).
Can I use this card to connect two monitors? I am installing 32 surveillance cameras. I should be able to view 16 images each on two monitors using one PC. Can this be done?

You can get a cheaper less power hungry card to display 2 monitors. A ATI 4550 or 4570 would be the best.
I just got the card. Great upgrade from my 7600. One thing to notice, it is really big. Think twice if you have a slim case or cramped one. It took me quite some effort to fit this beast in.
Anyone know the correct offer code for US customers? I typed in ASU-5044 as instructed on the rebate form, but it shows only the rebate for Canada ASU-5044 CA. Thanks.
Edit: If you use Bing.com CashBack, it is 3% for both the Video Card ($1.65 for 3% of $54.99) and CoD:W@W ($1.50 for 3% of $49.99).

It is virtually impossible to upgrade a laptop's video card as they are usually physically soldered to the motherboard and specialized to work specifically with the certain type of laptop motherboard you have. If you actually have a desktop computer but mistyped, you have to have a motherboard that supports PCI-E (pci express). This is a pci-e x16 card but I assume it would work on a pci-e x8 slot just not at its full potential. This should work in ANY desktop with the correct type of pci-e slot.
I have installed this card and am quite pleased. All benchmarks, as expected, are twice that of my previously installed EVGA 7900 FS KO. After selling my old card and assuming I get the rebate my cost will be practically nil.
When a product is out-of-stock, it may show as "Deactivated" on the item page. This could mean that the item is no longer available and we are searching for a new supplier. However, if an item has reached the end of its product life cycle and will no longer be available at all, the deactivation will be permanent.
I think it just went deactivated because it was out of stock for several days
