I've metered over 143db on my daily driver and it's a sound quality install. That said, these horns are pretty obnoxious, but I wouldn't mind having one for all the effing retarded drivers in this world.

Hi there. Thank you tonight for all the traffic. I always appreciate my customers passing the word on to their friends. Please let me know if you have any questions about our train horn kits.
Oh and definitely take advantage of the $50 Visa card promo. I will probably run out of card inventory in this month and that will end this promotion.
Are these street legal? Dumb question I know. However I was once pulled over for something as stupid as 'tireflys'. They are the little tire air cap replacements that light up as you drive. Now if a cop thinks a little LED light is worth hassling someone about, what will they do when hearing someone blasting this horn?

To ogg...Send me you contact info and I'll send you one of our t-shirts. Nothing fancy, but I like 'em.
In fact, anyone from here that orders a kit and I'll send you a t-shirt, too. Just send me and email after you order and tell me what size. Adult M, L and XL. 100% cotton and they shrink an average amount, fyi.

Harlock, most cities have noise laws and all of my kits go WAY above the max limit. You just have to be careful. It's not against the law to have these, though. Just to use them.
There's my justification for what it's worth.
People have also put these on their boats. I know of NO noise ordenances on the lake.
First time I heard one of these I was in my house and about freaked...the tracks are at least 5 miles away and I couldn't figure it out. Now they are popular and remind me of a year of living by the tracks in Hollywood, FL. They are loud and would certainly inspire me to get out of your way!

If anyone needs a LOUD horn, its all us guys on bikes! If you want help designing one, I will be HAPPY to help!
Technologist...send me an email. I'd like to discuss further.
These appear to be AIR powered, which is difficult to do on a HARLEY.... PM me HERE (on FW) with your direct email (rather than the info email on your site) and we can discuss other possibilities.
*one of these on my Dodge Ram Diesel is looking good!*

These horns are an idiotic idea for so many reasons:
1) They are well above the level required to damage human hearing, almost guaranteeing permanent hearing loss. 2) There may be a delay between when you use them and when they go off 3) They are almost certainly illegal for use on-road, anywhere. 4) I suspect any other driver hearing this would be so distracted by the horn that they are likely to do exactly OPPOSITE of what you are trying to communicate.
a coworker installed one of these on his truck, but his was powered with an air compressor that took a third of the truck bed up. he also wired it to his viper security system. he could set it off from almost a mile away.

I put air horns on both of my bikes. Horn went from "excuse me, if it's not too much trouble" to "GET THE F*** OUT OF MY WAY"
These train horns look really nice.

Just the thing to appeal to the dumbasses who install the bright lights on there cars to be "safer" (by blinding oncoming traffic)
Can you say "smart" ??
There's something really amusing about the mental image of someone driving one way, blinding another driver, and the blinded driver responding by deafening the driver that blinded them.
I can just see the court case now...someone speaking in sign language trying to prove their case against someone communicating in braille.
these are awesome....nothing says get the hell out of the way like a train horn! Wish it wasn't so big because I'm not sure it's going to fit in a sedan.
Try these in NYC and I don't think anyone would move out of your way. Having such a loud horn in general causes the oppposite effect. Some reason cars that you're not honking at but are in front of you act like jerks thinkign you're honking at them. I guess those people must be retards to think that.
