I ordered a 36" waist & my Dad ordered a 32" waist & they were both 32" length, which was the length I wear. My Dad's were a little long, but they did shrink some in both length & waist. These jeans work well for slim to average, but unfortunately were a little too small in the legs for me, so I returned them & ordered the relaxed fit instead
