How do you configure a guest VLAN without being a managed switch? I think that the Amazon description is wrong, I don't think that this switch supports all of those features. For the price range that this switch is in, it looks like the standard 8-port dumb unmanaged switch.
Btw, this is not a very hot deal. At one point, you could get TrendNet 8-port GigE switches with a metal case for $22 shipped from Newegg.

I'm very confused by the description - seems to be talking about the "smart" version of the switch whose model number is GS108T - the GS108 is just a standard dumb switch

those three bullet points point toward this being the gs108t, which would be an excellent deal at this price. Can someone confirm which model I'd get for sure?

Available for much less ($42 and change) with $15 rebate @ Newegg
I bought the GS105. It's a piece of junk. It won't connect over Gigabit to my Intel PRO/1000 GT NIC. From what I've read, it is VERY picky about what it will connect to with GigE. I will never buy another Netgear gigabit networking product.
