I really hope everyone is using this for the intended purpose. If not, I hope you do get caught. Have a little respect for this economy. |

Let's say your bank account only has $40, and you are using the debit card to buy something more than $40. It will be declined. |

That's not how it works. It applies the $40 and then prompts for another method of payment for the remaining balance. How else do you think people are buying $50 converters with $40 cards? |

For anyone who purchased the APEX from Target, which model number is it ? I don't see it mentioned on the website. They have every other number under the sun but the manf model listed. |

Yeah, I saw the 49.99 for an Apex also at my local Target in MN even though the ad clearly says ALL digital TV converter boxes, online it clearly says 40$ when you open that item - this is bait and switch. Anyways, did not feel arguing with Target so I went to Best Buy with my print out and price matched their Apex DTT502 to 40$, added a 10% discount for the heck of it to see what their system would do if a box costs less than 40$ and still had to pay some stupid sales tax ... (which was a few cents less then...). Well, I saved the government 4 bucks I guess |

Apex DT502 for $40 no tax still valid. Stopped at local Port Richey FL Target to see what they had, and all boxes are indeed $40. Problem was, they only had the RCA box left. They found 6 DT502's at the 54 and Suncoast Parkway Super Target, so I picked up 2 there. Advertised on endcap as $40 sale and rang up as free with $0.00 tax after scanning Coupon Card. |

Shoot. The DT-502 has no ability to manually add channels or do an add scan, unlike the DT-250 which it replaced. Why would APEX step backwards with a newer model ? |

I am looking for the RCA (already have one, it's ok) to match, but can't find them. Anybody seen them anywhere in the Miami area? |

Yesterday I picked up a RCA Venturer. I used a voucher and all I had to pay was the sales tax. For what it is worth, I took the last converter box that the store had in stock. |
