I agree, what ever happened to "Guilty until proven innocent?"

Someone could have easily gotten them legitimately and are willing to turn it around for a smaller profit margin.

Thanks.

After seeing this thread I searched and was able to buy 4000 points off e.bay for about $28 after bing CashBack (no tax or shipping). They emailed the code and it worked, no idea where they got the code. Typical price for 4000 points seems to be $50 so if you need points that seems like a good option.

Honor Dragon has 4000 XBL Points for $37.68 and they take paypal

1) first register with them (it's free)
2) then add the item in the cart and checkout.
in the checkout state that you're XBL id is from the U.S

Note: it won't let you add the points(item) into the cart unless you register first.

Just get a 13 month Gold Account off eBay for $28.99. Here's a link to an auction I used...I got my code within 5 minutes and it worked fine.

They refunded your money? But your xbl subscription is still active? That is strange and kinda makes it even fishier. Oh well.

Yes still active. I did a search on google as to what Refunded by Google 02 means and it looks like Google thinks their service is illegal somehow. Free Xbox live sounds good to me! I should have stocked up on microsoft points. grr

Hello John Brady,

Your 360 Connection has issued a refund for $32.00 to your AMEX xxx-1017 . Please note that the refund may not appear in your credit card account for several days.

* Refund reason: Other (describe below)

* Comments from Your 360 Connection: " Refunded by Google 02"

On your360connection.com

Google checkout stole all my money - $7000 - by suspending my account for no provided reason and refunding everyone even though I sent all the codes.... if you can still pay me otherwise for your refunded order that will greatly help since now I have nothing (everything was spent on those codes for the big restock on July 10-11) and will have to close this website indefinitely.........

I can take paypal at sunka2007@yahoo.com, thank you for your support and I hope I can get my business back together instead of being completely out of money.

Money received = $150/$4000

Looking to recover at least $4000 but depends on the honesty of my customers.

First he was taking paypal, then paypal account got suspended while the account was under review. Now Google checkout has suspended his account while it is under review. Now he has created a new email account for paypal to accept donations from his customers that supposedly got codes he emailed but also refunded his money. Very strange.

alert mods

All that sounds too fishy to me... glad I used other means for my points/subs...

alert mods

Well in the end I got a free Xbox Live account. Not sure if I should donate or not..

Well, on the one hand, no one has evidence to show that these things are illegal, you did get the promised item, and him losing out could mean the collapse of a perfectly legitimate business that offered spectacular deals to us. On the other hand, it's pretty damn fishy, and if they were illegal the guy getting nothing for all that work seems like a just end. I don't know what the right answer is. I'm kinda glad that I ultimately chose not to take advantage of the deal I posted myself.

If he is selling stolen codes, he's certainly a brazen fellow.

alert mods

If you received points or a code, there is absolutely no reason that you should not pay him. That's pretty dishonest.

Website Down...possibly for good

Thank you to all who have been honest and supportive.

Money received = $2740/$4000

We were informed by Google that our account has been closed (no given reason) and all of our money has been refunded to you, our customers.

Of course, we ship our digital items as soon as payment clears and pride in doing such.

This means that we're out all of our money (around $7000) as well as our products. A small fraction of this was profit (as evident in our great prices and mission) while most of the money was our own investment - in fact, it was practically everything we own(ed).

Google has been impossible to reach - they have no customer service line and require a merchant ID to contact through email (the merchant ID is only viewable when your account is open).

Our best guess as to why the account was closed was because we canceled about 40 out of stock orders since we weren't sure when our supplier would receive more items. You put your trust into us when you first purchased from us and that trust was fulfilled. Now our future is in your hands to repay us.

Money received = $2740/$4000

Looking to recover at least $4000 but depends on the honesty of you, the customers.

Repay us here.

'If you are unable to stop/intercept shipment, we suggest you attempt to
reconcile payment with your buyer directly, as any orders which had not
already been paid out to you have been refunded back to your buyer's
credit card. You will not receive any future payouts through Checkout."
