Is this really a good deal? My understanding was that 18/0 was the "cheap stuff", and I've seen similar sets for similar or even lower prices at Wally World.
18/0 is 18 percent chromium and 0 percent of nickel. The higher percentage of nickel than the more protection from corrosion. The higher qualities available are 18/8 and 18/10 respectively.
When I was looking for flatware, this set was one of my candidates. I really liked the look, but they do feel pretty light. I went with a Towle set instead (clearance at Macy's of course).

Nickel is what gives the steel its "stainless" properties. 18/0 is barely stainless steel, the lowest possible grade. It won't even pass the magnet test. The set will look like crap after just a few runs in a dishwasher. It will probably have rust spots.
