This laptop is $300 at Staples right now. I bought one Sunday. It's just fine once you remove the crapware. Runs even better with 7 installed. If you get one of these, preorder a 7 upgrade before 7/11 -- Vista Home Basic is much worse than I imagined.

Deal gets hotter with the CD/DVD HP all in one print I got along with this at Newegg .

A few other Brick and Morter Stores are Selling this for $299 but the tax pretty much makes it a wash... so not a bad deal. TOO BAD VISTA HOME BASIC does not qualify for Windows 7 upgrade.

Anyone know about the processor? Athlon 64 TF-20(1.60GHz) Is it dual-core? How does it compare to the intel processors?

How does it compare to the intel processors?I think it's a low power netbook type CPU not a dual-core but faster then Intel Atom...still not as fast as some low price Intel dual cores..I would look around more and see you can get one with better CPU and buy with Bing.com CashBack and hopefully you can get the most out of your hard earned $329

Didn't see a webcam in the spec's. Anyone can confirm?

I can't tell for sure. I took a look at acer.com and it says in the technical specifications that "select" models do have a web cam, but I don't know if this model is one of them.

Was this a one day special or is there a coupon code?

I'm seeing $399.00.
