I don't have exactly this version...I have these which I paid $6.50 per pair. Don't think of them really as lights...more as "markers". They would let someone tell where a sidewalk was in the dark. And I think they look pretty good in the edges of a flower bed. Mine are still going when I get up in the morning. They use 1 AA rechargeable battery - I think some of the better - and brigher ones use 2 AAs.
I also have a AA version, and it works well when it first gets dark, but can't hold the charge for even half of the night. A version with a single AAA would likely be a lot worse or very dim. I'd save your money for a light that uses two AA batteries as jmace57 says.
How about the result? Does it can lighing for about 6-8 hours at night? I searched many topics about solar light, many people said it only has weak&short time light.
