No DVD burner. The liteon iHES106-29 at $79.99 shipped (Newegg) may be a better fit for many people that was a blu-ray/DVD burner combo. the limited reviews on both are less than stellar.

These are not the fastest drives, which is the main complaint. They are, however, good for a htpc.
I have 4 mini-htpc-frontends (no hard drive) with blu-ray drives in my house, all connected to the main server (1 tb for sharing recordings, encoding, decrypting, etc). Only the main unit has a burner on it, since all the frontends need to do is read a disc fast enough to play it on the tv.
