This cult classic produced by Judd Apatow is on sale at Amazon.com. It is a six-disc boxed set and has over 40 hours of supplemental material. Not everybody got into this show, but those who did, loved it. Great price for an awesome TV show boxed set. $37.49 at Amazon is the cheapest I could find by over $7. Plus it ships for free with Super Saver Shipping.

Wow I have never even heard of this show. However, I certainly have heard of Judd Apatow these days. If this is one of his earlier projects, I might just have to take a look. Its definitely a pretty decent price for such a box set, but I am curious what people think of the show before I dump nigh $40 on something I haven't heard of.

this was a great show that ended too soon-

Awesome show. One of the few smart tv series that I enjoyed that, of course, got yanked (same as Arrested Development and Pushing Daisies). Btw, it's not gross humor like most of his movies.

This is a highly critically acclaimed show that in many's opinion never got a chance by the network. If you like Judd Apatow's work, you will like this.

Yeah this is one of his earlier projects. He produced Freaks and Geeks and it was written by Paul Feig(directed episodes of "The Office""Arrested Development""Weeds") It's a funny show. It was cut after one season but don't let that deter you. It's a cult classic.

Wow, very quickly there are some good reviews popping up. I may look into this! Thanks again for the spotlight on this show.

This is an excellent show.

I had never heard of this until someone recommended it 2-3 years ago. It is indeed the best "high school"-type series ever, too bad it ended so soon. That said, the price is not a "steal" for 18 episodes, however this excellent series is sure worth $37.

I have this set and it is worth every penny. This is a great show. It was one of the best shows on tv at the time. I couldn't believe it got cancelled.

this show is hilarious

My friend was telling me about this movie after finally watching the 40-Year-Old Virgin last weekend. I was just going to pick it up, Thanks OP!

well you're in for a treat then my friend, because this is more than a movie, it's an entire series.

i agree with everyone -- it was a great show. i believe that it was on saturday nights - not a prime slot to try to win an audience. it never was given a real chance.

Don't forget the 29 commentaries; some are really good. The one with the gym teacher, math teacher, and guidance counselor in character talking about the episode is awesome. I need to watch these again.

Outstanding show and well worth the money. Keep an eye out for his follow-up series, Undeclared, too.

The impending cancellation of this show prompted me to write a network executive in outrage for the first time in my life.

This deal is back on. Just checked it out today.

There is a newer release (which is also more expensive) called the Yearbook Edition. It's a great series though. Once you watch and love it, you can grab Undeclared too, which is another classic.

I just learned DeepDiscount.com has the series for $28.04 after coupon. Use code: CJ25 to get 25% off their original price of $37.39. Shipping is free!
