Static is an analog anomaly! The "service" is pure digital! You have a bad phone, bad ooma box or a bad wire in between. |

I called ooma customer support and costco. The $50 eventually magically appeared in my account. I have been a Vonage subscriber for YEARS and I am VERY HAPPY with ooma. I am very impressed by the quality of the service -- customer support was very supportive -- and their device, with the scout just rocks. Highly recommended. |

If you cut landline with ATT and only use their naked DSL, your internet prices goes up $10. So payback for Ooma just doubled because phone line just cost me $20. |

This is what costco's website says about their refund policy "Merchandise: We guarantee your satisfaction on every product we sell with a full refund. The following must be returned within 90 days of purchase for a refund: televisions, projectors, computers, cameras, camcorders, iPOD / MP3 players and cellular phones." For ooma specifically, costco says: "Costco.com products can be returned to any of our more than 500 Costco warehouses worldwide." So, I believe ooma can be returned anytime for a full refund. |

Port your number first (calling ooma), then wait until its ready, then cancel your Verizon landline. It took 3 weeks for me. |

Does it come with second line like feature? When one person is receiving the phone and another person from different instrument can make another call. Is this a standard feature. |

They still have them available at our local Costco. There is no sticker on the box. One thing I did notice is you'll get socked with a $12 USF/recovery fee on the second and subsequent years. |

The $50 international credit has to be used within 90 days. That's about the only thing I'm not sure I'd take advantage of. Otherwise this really does seem like a good deal. I don't know enough about the Telo that's supposed to be coming out, but other than looking snazzy, what's the benefit of waiting? |

I was seriously considering getting the Ooma from Costco unitl I found there was an $11.75/year recovery fee. Here's their Rates where it is listed. It only applies to those purchased at Costco (B&M or Online). I talked with an Ooma CSR and she confirmed this. I also found that if you call Ooma to order the hub & scout the cost is only $229, if you order it on the website its $249. |

You might be mistakan about online purchase - from your link, $11.75/year fee applies only to "Costco Warehouse store (Hub only) customers", and, as was confirmed by some, there is a sticker on those boxes describing this fee. The boxes ordered from costco.com are not 'hub only' and do not have this sticker. |
