Excellent speakers. I have a pair that I picked up for the same price. Mid, high range is great but you will need a sub. I added a 100.00 sub and it was perfect.

I bought a pair of the VM30 "silver/aluminum" ones from Newegg several months back when they were $200 each. One of the best purchases I've ever made. Definitely get a subwoofer to go along with them.

yes they were 200 for open box models
i beliveve the current ones are black, not silver
