Best burger in town, great value overall. Love the shakes too. Five Guys still has best fries however (and also a good value). PDS |

I just got my email....and the coupon is for a free brownie with purchase.....I don't think the brownie costs $5.... Maybe the $5 off coupon is for certain regions only? |

This reminds me of the movie "Idiocracy" and how FUDDRUCKERS name began changing over time as people got dumber and dumber. |

went once as a kid, and then again last week, great burgers! if i had remembered them being so good, i'd have been visiting more often. as for the medium-rare comment, i don't know about other states, but CA health code requires restaurants to cook ground beef to a certain min temperature. that means medium is the lowest that any restaurant is allowed to cook it, without facing fines. |

I must ask...do you have any proof of this? I only ask because during the e. coli scare of 1993, where a few kids died because of eating raw (not undercooked, partially raw!) burgers at Jack in the Box, many restaurants here in PA decided that there was some new "law" about not being able to server a burger cooked less than medium. This turned out to be completely false, even though about 1/3 of the restaurants I went to around that time swore there was a law. I came across the USDA recommendation on safe cooking of ground beef & hamburger though: http://www.fsis.usda.gov/Factsheets/Ground_Beef_and_Food_Safety/... Notice they are "recommendations" and not laws. Hence the warning on many menus that says: "Consuming raw or undercooked meat, poultry, eggs, shellfish, or seafood may increase your risk of foodborne illness." Does anyone remember when Wendy's used to cook your burgers to order? |

Honestly, I just browsed this topic to make a joke about idiocracy but was beat to it..... I am remiss to discount the opinions of others, and I don't expect that my own two cents will change the minds of anyone who already likes Fuddruckers. But to those who think they might give it a try for the first time - save your money! The burgers are average at best, and the condiments bar is bland bland bland. |

I agree the condiments bar is average, but the quality of the meat is way, way above any other chain out there. |
