I have warned users before that zipzoomfly will take orders and apply charges to your credit card, while they are OOS and then you must go through the hassle of filing a disputed transaction with your credit card. ZZF doesn't make good on backorders nor holding the original sales price. BUYER BEWARE!!! |

No, this only has Windows XP Home -- free Win 7 upgrade requires at least Vista Home Premium. |

According to Microsoft, you must buy a Vista PC on June 26 or later (where they interpret Vista to mean at least Vista Home Premium) to qualify for the free upgrade to Windows 7. They also indicate that it varies by computer manufacturer whether they are participating. Check the info here. I checked on Dell's website, and they seem to confirm that Win 7 free upgrade is only available for Vista machines. Check here |

I better wait in that case. No reason to get winxp when win 7 is only a couple of months away. |

I spoke with Dell Sales Reps on their chat service and they specifically told me that none of their Mini's are eligible for the Windows 7 free upgrade. They told me it was because the mini's do not come with 2gb of ram. I said yes, but they can be upgraded to 2gbs, but they still said no because it cannot come with it from Dell. |
