with the shipping charges, best you get is $0.04 per 4x6 and $0.07 per 5x7... that's IF you order all 1000 4x6s or 500 5x7s at one time... hardly free... definitely reasonable as long as their prints are good
I've been using ArtsCow for about a year. The previous deal for 1,200 prints was 50 4x6s and 50 5x7s per month for 12 months. That meant $3.99 with shipping for 50 4x6 prints, or 8 cents a print. Looks like the new offer ups that to 100 4x6s and 50 5x7s per month. Shipping is slow -- direct from Hong Kong -- but I have found the prints to be of good quality, and 8 cents is pretty good everyday when you can't find a better sale elsewhere. They also have some neat gift items. Warning: Wading through the tortured English sometimes takes some effort.

Hong Kong, huh. Thanks for the heads up. Are the competitors domestic? I'm thinking winkflash and Adorama, etc...
Haven't used their prints, but have done photo books and cards. Good quality and free, just paid shipping which was reasonable. Shipping is slow, but if you expect it to be slow, no problem. Right now they have a lot of items on sale, with free shipping. plus when you sign up you get a bunch of stuff free, just pay shipping.
ok..so pretty slow. You'd have to want prints just to have them, not needing them in the immediate future. Well, for "free", its not a bad option, especially if you can foresee needing 100 or so at a time....
