I bought one of theses when the deal was up earlier last week. Don't believe the 4 week shipping notice. It has already been shipped. I should be getting mine either tomorrow or monday.
Thx, but still not working. Something must be going on w/ links gettin embedded here at FW, now the links are getting appended with "www . anrdoezrs . net' at the beginning, I've never noticed that before
I was able to dig my way thru and find it by search on Y650's.
Since we won't be gaming on this machine, the Intel graphics are just fine. Also, I was looking at the Y Series Product PDF and I was please to see that it has... HDMI port supporting HDCP to output protected content 6-in-1 reader (MultiMedia Card, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO™, Secure Digital Card, Secure Digital Elite Pro Card, xD-Picture Card™) High Definition (HD) Audio, RealTek® ALC272 codec / two JBL® stereo speakers (2 watt), Dolby® Home Theater™ Speaker System Bluetooth 2.1 wireless + EDR

Is there a coupon code that you're using? I'm taking a base T500 with the ATI GPU...upgrading the processor to be the same as the Y650, bumping it to 4 gig RAM, with Vista premium, and a 320 gig drive and I'm getting 1065 for an equivalent unit...
the base T500 with the ATI GPU IS cheaper by about 20 bucks...but a slower processor, half the RAM, lower version of Vista, and half the drive space...
so I must be doing something wrong...the original deal is a 2.53 Ghz processor, 4 gig RAM, vista home premium 64-bit, 320 gig drive...
I'd MUCH prefer the thinkpad...but not at that price...any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong?
