The thing that pisses me off is that you don't have an option to remove parking, when I attend the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater (will always be Riverport to me) we don't park there. We park at Dave & Busters and walk to the Amphitheater. But let's say that we did drive and park, why in the heck is it $6/per person to park? It should be a per vehicle charge, not per person. If anything a per vehicle charge might help people car pool.

Does this run today only? Live Nation has been waiving their service fees on Wednesdays throughout the summer.
Called Live Nation and had the parking fee removed. The key is to mention "charging for a service not provided", if you're not going to use parking....
when i bought the $5 citicard ones on wednesday, when the no fee banner was on the front page, they still charged the same fees they are talking about here and also wound up with a $16.10 price per ticket. I still thought it was a good deal but guess the no fee applies only to non discounted tickets? Beats me.
I am going to wait until Wednesday and try for some $5 Crue tickets or $7.11 Leppard/Poison tickets then, hoping they'll waive the service fees for that day. If they are sold out by then, no big deal...

/facepalm
Nickelback isnt my favorite but they arent that bad of a band as compared to a lot of the other crap on the radio. i personally would got to see Hinder and Papa Roach who are opening for NB.

I work at one of these amphitheaters and have had to deal with people who got comp tickets through some promo and then were hit up with the parking fee when they went to Will Call to get their tickets. Most didn't mind the fee but all were upset that it wasn't spelled out from the beginning. I guess LN is doing a better job of getting the word out.

I tried it on ticketmaster for the De La Soul concert at the Chicago House of Blues (where there is no lawn) and it's worked. 30 dollars for a pair of tickets to De La Soul, including taxes and service charges!

Yea, but its 190.40 for those same 4 tickets without the code, I dont think many of you guys buy concert tickets, this is a great deal.

Those same 4 tickets are 190.40 without the code. You guys must not buy many concert tickets, this is a great deal. Verizon in Charlotte also charges per ticket for the parking, before they did it was 10 per car when you get there, and it would probably be closer to 20 now. Go to a football game in Charlotte and get charged 20-40 per car, and more!

coopdeluxe, how were you able to click through for depeche mode, etc? Did you get a code from subway before going to the website? I haven't gone to Subway for a code so all I saw on the site was like 3 bands.
I gave up and went to depeche mode's site for tour dates, but I don't see them coming anywhere nearby.
These $5 lawn tickets are literally for outdoor events only, right? Because I don't think the coupon code works for anything I want to see (indoor events) even though ticketmaster has a drop down menu for subway tickets in the check out section.
If no one posted that direct link I wouldn't have even been able to see the Subway site info. The other night I went to subway.com and had no idea where to click to get to the concert stuff. I don't have cable TV so I've been relying on the internet for all this promotion info. Where did you get the direct link, anyway, Butcherboy?
sorry for the similar posts, don't know how to delete one.
