[Price]: $44.95 with Free Shipping

Description
With the KFC-W3011 12" subwoofer you will receive excellent power handling, high efficiency, and a solid bass sound. This model's classy and upscale look sets it apart from its competitors. With features such as a special polypropylene cone with a heavy duty rubber, your subwoofer will promote deep excursion. Best of all this subwoofer has a reversible ring which allows you to top mount or bottom mount the sub and it works in both sealed and ported spaces so you can get either a boomy or tight bass response.

Thanks OP, jumped in on one.

FYI I received the newer version of this sub, the KFCW3012 instead of the 3011. Not sure if that was a purposeful substitution on their part.

Sorry dude, but that's actually a downgrade. It's the newer model, so has a higher selling price, and they probably thought they were doing you a favor, but Kenwood back pedaled a little bit.

Three things jump out at me. They went from a rubber surround down to a foam. The Sensitivity went down from 90 dB to 86 dB. The Freq Response range went from 25-800Hz to 39-300Hz. So it's not going to be as durable, as loud, or as deep. The cone material isn't as nice and the excursion is less also, so you'll get more distortion at high volume levels.
