T&C looks fairly standard. Employees & family not eligible, no automated scripts, limit one per person, no DoS on the server. The no group requests thing irks me tho. Does that mean no groups aka birthday parties? Or just groups like organizations.

At least there is smaller chance to see: "Due to the overwhelming interest in our Bday offer, Benihana has temporarily suspended it. We are now offering 3% off coupon. Thank you for choosing Benihana"
I used mine last night and had the filet mignon. I did not receive a free meal up to $30, I only received my entree free which was $22.50. One would assume that free meal would include your soft drink & hibachi chicken rice too, between the 3, it was still under $30. I didn't question it at the time because I still received my steak for free, but the whole "meal" would've been nice.
fatskillet said: Yay! I actually got the offer in my email, lets try Benihana now. Any suggestions what to order from their menu?I get the steak and lobster and fried rice. It is a few dollars more than $30 and you have to pay the tax and the tip. Steak and shrimp is closer to $30. Both include ice cream.

I assumed I was charged bc it was to-go. I think she should have mentioned it, but I didn't question it either.

Anyone have a Benihana birthday certificate they aren't going to use this month and you would be willing to email it to me? My birthday is tomorrow and I won't get it in time!

Went with my wife. It's been a long time and was maybe a 5/10. Deal is good but why are the Mexican cooking there? At least get someone from Australian they are Asian too!

If you flash the "twins" you'll probably get some things for free Flashing Big Jim and the twins will usually get ya 3 free meals, and a date with guy who has 1 tooth and a bunch of tatoos.
I went with the family 3 nights ago. Mexican hibachi boy.
After food was cooked, and I mentioned to the cook and the table, that this was the best Mexican food I ever had! I guess you had to be there.
I ordered a 12 oz rib eye, and they ended up chopping it up. I told them not too, but then my brother in law asked, how was I gonna cut it... chopsticks?!
Anyway, any place that cuts up my steak is not my idea of dinner.
Too bad my birthday is on February.
I signed up in store for the bday club.
I hope I dont get the enrollment confirmation in time for Feb, since this is not my idea to eat. The fried rice is good... fresh!
You CAN use the certificate for their all-you-can-eat sushi deals, at the locations where they offer it. However, YMMY depending on the location manager. Both of the places that I went to, the managers said yes.
Dumb question...my girlfriend and my friend's wives all have January birthdays. All three have the coupon...are they going to give us any trouble if we all sit at the same table and all three use the coupon on 3 different checks?
Three of us in our family have birthdays within a few days of each other, so I was hoping to take the family of five of us out and use the three certificates. However, it is not just one per person. It is one per party. So I don't think that is going to fly.
The coupon itself, not the T&C states: "Limit one Certificate per person, per party."
T&C also say, "Sponsor reserves the right to refuse to honor Certificate and require payment of $30 if Sponsor determines in its sole discretion that participant is not in full compliance with Terms & Conditions "
Two of our certificates came later in March for birthdays in March and they have an April 30 expiration date.
So have each bday person sit at a different table. You'll still all be there 'together', eating the same food, enjoying the same repetitive jokes, just from 3 different mexican chefs. It's all beuno.
You can try to sit near the sushi bar and each get a table for 1-2 people - all the tables there are real close to each other - and you can order from either menu there. Won't be at the grills or right next to each other but close enough you can all interact and such. I just went by myself and sat near the sushi bar.

Yah, but we have the same last name, arriving the same time with certificates. My concern is the T&C say Sponsor reserves the right to refuse at their sole discretion. So they could just can it for the obvious.
Exbauer said: I got it and they were running a promotion for $39 dinner for 2...soup, salad, shrimp appetizer, chicken and fillet mignon. At the end they gave me a free rainbow sherbet, sang happy birthday and took a picture which they printed out for me. They let me use the gift certificate and had to pay $9, tax, and tip.
