I would be interested in a comparison between the pioneer 919, the Sony dh800, the yamaha ? and this receiver. Looks like all are in the sub 300 price range right now.

Code is still alive but it takes $86.55 off of $378...total is $291.45, but free shipping and no tax....plus 3% FW Cash Back...pretty good deal.

For those that ordered from electronics-expo.com how quick did they take from order date to ship date? I ordered mine on 11/20 but have yet to receive any futher status or tracking info. I'd love to hear feedback regarding those that ordered the receiver. Thanks.
that's a product of their customer service, jopey. who knows when you will get it, honestly. seriously, tho, i would expect it the monday after thanksgiving if i were you

I'm willing to forgive a reasonable amount of time due to the price. I'll let you know if/when I get a delivery confirmation and/or tracking #. I'm not expecting Newegg efficiency.

Thanks mrredskin for the info. I was just checking to see if they do fulfill orders. I'd hate to wait two weeks and then get an email saying the order was cancelled or not in stock anymore. I can't imagine how many orders they're getting for this receiver at this price, with their deal coupon shared among the various deal forums. It was too good to pass especially since my old denon 2300 needs an upgrade. I can wait awhile as well for this price but we'll see. Thanks jtini for keeping us updated. I'll post as well when I get an email from ee.

Been eye-balling the DH800 myself, so I would also entertain any thoughts on comparing these models. 2 advantages I see for the DH800 over this Denon, are 7.1 and the HD surround modes.

Just got my e-mail today. So it shipped 5 days from the time of order. Not too bad considering it's the busiest shopping season of the year.
