T-Mobile offers the Nokia 3555 flip camera cellular phone for $30 + tax (free shipping) -- Link
Use FatWallet CashBack shopping to save another $5, for a final price of $25.
EDIT: Use bing (search for T-Mobile.com) to save 35% the price for a final price of $20 (+tax on $30)
It is bundled with a $30 free refill prepaid program (activated before September 8, see details later on) -- Link
The Nokia 3555 is a low end VGA camera phone with 4 GSM bands (850/900/1800/1900), stereo bluetooth, music player, microSD slot and a pretty good reception/speakerphone. The phone is medium size. Reviews mention low battery life and some complaints exist about random shutoffs.
The phone can be unlocked by T-Mobile three months after initial card activation and within one month from last refill.

I sent it back.... the phone is no good. cheap plastic and very clunky interface. Speakerphone is also on the lower side. Music player is also on the low side.

For a $30 phone with out a contract - what do you expect? Essentially you only pay for tax with the 30$ service credits. Good deal. Green for you op.
Will this work for two activations/phones? T-Mobile limit is two per household, but I wonder if 35% works for two. Same guestion for FW. I am new here, how does one stack the two CashBack offers?

Tmobile prepaid is great. Pretty much any gsm phone will work. You could even buy an iphone and it will work with tmobile prepaid (if you jailbreak).

So first I have to go to FW's Cash Back Shopping page -> click on T-Mobile -> go to the store (to get the $5 CB)?
Then I have to 'wander a bit' to bing.com, search for tmobile, and click on the link to go to store (to get 35% CB)?
Sorry I just want to make sure... Somehow last time when I did something like this (ie. wandering around before finalizing the purchase), I didn't get FW CashBack
i want to get this phone to replace my Mom's phone Nokia 6133. But somehow I think her Nokia 6133 is better than this. At least her phone has 1.3mp camera, this one doesn't. What do you guys think?

I have a nokia 6133 and I tried using my Mom's 3555. The one thing that stood out alot for me was how dull the colors looked on the screen.

It comes with 10 minutes of airtime (same as the activation kit you buy for an unlocked phone). The $10 should be added on top of that.
I wonder whether regular handsets locked for T-Mobile and T-Mobile prepaid phones are exchangable? Say, regular handsets locked for T-Mobile can be used for T-Mobile prepaid lines? And T-Mobile prepaid phones (such as this Nokia 3555) be used for regular T-Mobile family or individual plans?

Yes, phones locked with T-Mobile can be used for both kind of services interchangeably.

Judging from the information found from a couple of sources around the web, that seems to be correct. T-Mobile used to have that information on their support site, but cannot find it there any more, but I doubt this is because of a policy change.
