I picked up a Olympus FE-360 8mp Silver camera at the Delavan, WI Staples. Not sure if this is regional or even store specific. It was a clearance item marked down from $99 to $48.50
This was the last one there I believe...
confirm if anyone finds this deal at another store~
stricken said: Can we use $ off coupons with clearance items?Generally. Sometimes the price is the result of "instant savings" which applies automatically at checkout, but like a coupon. While the store *can* accept it, the technical fine print would preclude many coupons.
-cdPS: I keep forgetting that linking to Staples from FW isn't working. Copy/paste for this to work: http://www.Staples.com/office/supplies/StaplesStoreInventory?&langId=-1&storeId=10001&catentryId=253704
What is the secret to building those links? How do you determine the catentryId?What? You mean you don't have backend access to the Staples DB? Me neither. Fortunately it's even easier now. Just stick the SKU on the end of this: http://www.Staples.com/office/supplies/StaplesStoreInventory?partNumber=

Thanks OP scored one too for $48.50 and got the gift card. Would not let me use on that purchase claiming the card takes up to 24 hrs to load. But still a great deal. And I thought the card was good on a $30.00 purchase not $50.00.

confirm if anyone finds this deal at another store~ I live about 20 mins from Delavan, I might just make the trek and see if you really did get the last one. I hope not.
Passed this up in the store as I have had way too many problems with Olympus cameras to last a lifetime.

I am pretty sure that was the last one in Delavan. Mundeline and McHenry both show low stock, but probably have at least one.

Just got one at the Mt Prospect IL store. I asked the check out person to see if they had it and gave him the item # as it wasn't on display. He came back with it- new in box. Thanks OP!

Same, i went to the one on oak lawn (96th and cicero). Asked the assistant manager to check to see if they had any olympus cameras in the back on clearance. after about 10 mins, he comes back with one in box; purchased $2.00 bag of jolly ranchers to grab the $10 gift card as well!! thanks!!!

Thanks again OP. Picked up the last one at my local store. Used the GC on the purchase of the second one that I got when I bought the first one. And now I have another to use on something else. This was a sweet deal. I didn't seem to have a problem filling as they took the coupon on a total over $30.00. They didn't bat an eyelash either time.
went to 2 local Staples, they both showed 2 in stock, but managers/rep just could not locate them. so they said that system not updated yet. One manager told me, I am the 3rd person yesterday to ask for this item. The other two called in!!! (silly or smart) Then she wonder how do you guys know about it. I smiled and said that my friends share the info w/ me.

Yeah,,, The Staples employees like to get in on these bargain clearances.... so they have trouble "locating" the inventory, even though the computer shows stock...
