Google Voice Military Invite Link with 1 Day Turnaround (valid .MIL accounts)
For those in the Military with a .MIL email address, you can get a Google Voice invite within a day's turnaround vs. what seems to be a week for civilians.
It is hard enough to keep in touch with family and friends, but imagine being half-way around the world in a place like Iraq with limited access to telephones…or having to move and change your phone number every couple years. The military lifestyle often presents unique communication challenges that Google Voice can make easier, so we are giving priority invites (sent within a day) to active military and reserves with .mil email addresses at:

If this only works in the US how will this be of use though? Do they forward the calls to a foreign number?

what is the number request option, or name, i had my invite and still havent used it , since all the names i tried didn't work, and some were pretty bizarre, so want sure if the google voice portion was really searching.
is there a way to request your cell of landline number with a google npa ? i wouldn't think my phone number would be a hot item, but i couldn't find a way to request it.

do google invites expire? i got 1 a couple weeks back and havn't used it.
