Rebate Link Advance Auto Parts is selling Wagner Thermo Quiet Brake Pads which now have up to a $30 rebate if you buy both front and rear pads ($15 off each set) and I used the $10 off of $25 listed here at FW. I did two transactions so I could use a different coupon on each transaction and I will wind up getting two sets of these for around $50 which is the going price for one pair of them for my 1997 Outback.
OP - as of 8-7-2009 2:28pm CDT, your title says "Thermo Quit Brakes" lol... was trying to figure out what kind of backwater marketing dept came up with that kind of name
BTW - that's a manufacture's rebate. so it should be good at any store, not just Advance. And the small print says it can't be combined with any coupon offer, so I guess YMMV on stacking with the Advance coupon.
Looking at the allowable part numbers from the FAQ, it looks like Amazon carries these. I see, for example:
Wagner MX835 Disc Brake Pad Set $26.66
With a $15 rebate, free shipping and usually no tax, that's $11.66 AR for a pair. Not bad.
Thanks OP. I'll check this out. I need front and rear for my Camry.
BTW, you might want to fix your title to indicate that the rebate is for brake pads/shoes. My car has shoes in the rear and I can use the rebate for those.

thanks I just bought front pads, but didn't know about the coupon

Too bad rockauto isn't participating. I've been happy w/ these pads....minimal amounts of dust compared to OEM...

Why would you say this? Wouldn't any auto parts store work? Besides, they have the promo right on their site .. LINK .. It's the last one on the list.

No go with the store coupon, the lady said "no combination with other offers."

The rebate form I saw earlier said "participating local stores". We can try it at rockauto, but no guarantees...
Got some for my Mazda6. Front pads were $42, rear pads $28, used 2 $10 off $25 coupons (separate transactions). The CSR gave me the rebate form after I presented the coupon so we'll see if it works. If so, it will be ~$23 after tax for both rear and front pads AR.
