Despite the names, these bags are pretty small. Make sure the bag is big enough to carry your gear.

I own a 6 M and it holds my camera and a few accessories fairly well, but I can't imagine going any smaller... It is a very nice bag, though.

can anyone recommend a nice bag that will carry an SLR, couple lenses, flash, plus a laptop? Just picked up a netbook, which will be my primary travel device, but need something that can fit a 14 inch laptop....

None of these bags are anywhere close to big enough to carry that load. Try cambags.com for recommendations on bigger bags.
