Save 10% ($1.49) at Bing CashBack. Go to www.bing.com and search for neweggfacebook and click on the 10% CashBack link. Or wait till 2:00 PM EST and the CashBack store at bing for Newegg should be 10% (I think).

new deal, but advantages/disadvantages have previously been discussed here

if you want one - this is a good price

if you think this product is a waste, please don't tell others how they're wasting their money and will never recoup their cost.

free shipping?

I love mine, useful to determining energy use on different things around the home!

Shipping ($5.99) kills the deal.

As a meatatarian I personally won't kill a watt.

This is true. This device always seems to be around $20 shipped, whether free shipping or plus shipping.

True. You kill a watt by using it.

I saved the cost in under a year just by using a different fan in my bedroom. The one I'd been using sucked up over a hundred watts while another one I had that moved just as much air only used 40 watts.

Also answered the question "Does the refrigerator in the garage use a lot more electricity in July when its 100 degrees out than it does when its 70 degrees?". Which is "not really".

I found the same result, and was honestly amazed. I was sure our outdoor refrigerator would use 2-3 times as much during the 100ºF days, but it really didn't.

Probably opened MUCH less often? (is that correct English? "much less often")
That's probably why it didn't show 2-3 times as much I guess...

Ever so slightly cheaper if you can get free shipping (i.e. add in at least $5 more of other Amazon purchases).

Nevermind, not cheaper with CashBack....

I have one and they work great...think I paid about $17 shipped.

Buy it, play with it, sell it used on eBay. You'll probably make a profit on the deal.

The price has climbed up to $19.99 at Newegg, but there is now a free shipping code available for Newegg subscribers: EMCLWNW22 Coupon code valid through Septemeber 2, 2009.
