Many here might have various types of subscriptions to watch TV. I, for one never had a subscription and always watch some clips here and there wherever it says Free Online.
Today I got an email from Trueroots for 35% off any package..with two weeks free including 2weeks free Video on demand. I used the Promocode Trueroots during checkout and it gave a 14.99 package for $9.xx (a subscritpion to three channels). You can link your lappy to a projector or TV.
Though they say only for True roots customers, I am not one but could still subscribe.
Also you can watch anywhere you want. However, I see most of Zee channels and no Star TV

I think this is good...but waiting for suggestions whether there are any better ones out there.

How is the video quality? Are you watching it on a PC or TV?

I am looking for a high quality streaming site for Indian stuff...don't mind paying a subscription fee.Just want to get rid of my expensive satellite.

So far haven't found anything good.

Video Quaity is good in pc, while turning the full screen it is good in my OLD CRT as well (via SVIDEO).
But the limitation of number of channel is one issue here..

I subscribed to it today and will update quality. I usally watch o big screen (projector of good resolution...about 60"x60"..so I will be able to tell about quality. I will update in the evening. Thanks
...I agree with amritapa about limited channels...but at least I hope it will be better than others (in price and quality
At best try it free for two weeks...that is what I am going to do...Same like StarzPlay from Verizon...you can see all the movies on their site for $6.00 if you are a Verizon customer ad if not $10. They also have 2 weeks free. I checked their quality. The files are small and of DVD quality. You ca either download and watch later or watch online.
I hope Tata's WatchIndia will also have good quality

for the Megapack (all channel) it is 16.79 all included after discount

for the Megapack (all channel) it is 16.79 all included after discount

it says $24.99 for the megapack with the code discount in the checkout page (where it asks you for the cc). Where does $16.79 appear?

Checkout/using PAYPAL (if u have one) and in the final value in PAYPAL it says " 0.0 USD for first 14 days and then 16.79 per month under your subscription option of PAYPAL".
