Sorry guys I mistype 75 off 25 LOL!

You get green from me for making me remember the 20 some odd virus packs I have from 07 that netted me a free laptop - with the label sheet that was made it only took a few hours to put that project together. I also sold some for $10-$15 and came out making about $100. I do wonder what they will accept as proof of upgrade though, the box - all the upcs are gone.

NICKel said: nkling said: 75 off 25 from eJunkie: -$25.00 Can you tell me more about the ejunkie coupon?

Its a rather nice coupon - the one in the mail is usually printed on glossy plastic, with bright colors, and tear away sections that are approximately the size of credit cards. The ones from eJunkie are more likely to be electronic versions of this, just coupon codes. There isn't much more we know about the coupons. Oh - they are single use.

Sorry, couldn't help it

Oh - they are single use.Noooooooooooooooooooo!!! So this deal is a YMMV as its dependant on having an ejunkie coupon... the title should be updated to reflect that.

I wish it was $75 off of $25!

I meant you go to eJunkie and buy a coupon for a few bucks, and use it once.

Alternatively, the mail just got me 2 of these 25 off 75 coupons - if you get them, use them - again, each coupon needs to be surrendered / used just once.

OP, where did you get an idea regard to the Sandisk USB 8 GB? Have you read rebate offers?

A PHOTOcopy of the actual CD or first page of the manual will do.

Good deal!
However, I cannot find the $40SER. Where's it? can anyone post its link?

It is right there on the Staples product page for the Norton NIS.

It's on the second page of listed rebates, #14 of 14.

Green for OP. There is nothing special about the USB drive since it has no rebate, right? Any item(s) making the total at least $75 will work just as well if I understand.

I assume this is the same "Norton upgrade rebate" that has been around forever, correct ?

They do accept the CD, you probably will pay around 50 cent more to send out the cd.
Some people said they accept the photocopy of CD as well.

They don't say how far back they'll accept.... I still have a 2001 CD from an HP that I bought. I wonder if I could mail them that?

well, if you buy NIS alone and a 20 off 50 coupon, you don't even have to buy the flash drive and still make $20 minus the cost of coupon.

$60 NIS - $20 coupon - $40(ER)- $20 upgrade + cost of coupon

respdoc said: I assume this is the same "Norton upgrade rebate" that has been around forever, correct ?Actually, it's different than the non-Staples upgrade rebate. So if you already bought at Frys, you should still be able to get this rebate.

NICKel said: They don't say how far back they'll accept.... I still have a 2001 CD from an HP that I bought. I wonder if I could mail them that? They don't care so long as it's from a competitor or their own product.

Thanks Bill ... ok I will give this deal a shot.

Does anyone know the rebate offer number of the upgrade rebate ?

Can someone post a photocopy of their old norton CD?

this week is 10% customer appreciation - not as good as a $25 off coupon, but it might make it better... Keep in mind that Norton 2010 will probably come out in September

Can someone post the Norton NIS rebate form?

SMMMMMOKING !!!!! Little hard to figure out the math, LOL. I swear I am not a dumb A$$, LOL

Will NIS 2009 let me install just the antivirus component without any extra stuff?

P.S. I don't think I have any old copies of Norton lying around anymore. Any way around it?

Nice combo, I've been looking for a FAR 8gb usb driver, thank you!

Add the FAR label maker for $15, add a few 1c notebooks as filler and make more than $15

You can get an 8GB HP SDHC card (757573) for 2 dollars more if you don't need a USB stick.

I ordered a SanDisk 4 GB Memory Stick Pro Duo for $19.99 (Item 715985) with this making it almost even after I factor in the cost of postage and envelope etc. Good find OP. GFY (Green For You).

This looks like a nice deal, but did anyone see the other rebates on this Norton on the stapleseasyrebates site? If you buy a router or hard drive, for example, it seems like you can get much more back. I don't really need a flash drive, so I might get a nice router instead using:
08-31541 $20 (comes up on a search for 758743 even though it says 758742)
08-31521 $20
08-31517 $20
08-31518 $20
09-89285 $40

If the above info makes no sense, please just ignore it... I didn't double check anything because I'm in a rush, so it's probably too YMMV to bother with at best.

I got the jump drive and Norton. they rock! Thanks!

Thanks OP, in for the deal! Will work great with the 2 new netbooks added to the already too many computers.

LagerChamp said: You can get an 8GB HP SDHC card (757573) for 2 dollars more if you don't need a USB stick.

757573 is $44.99. I believe you are talking about the 4GB version?

Edit:
damn, I did not realize that each customer can only use the same first 5-digit code once until I bought a code and was told it was used! I already used on for the fax+labler deal.

How can I do Upgrade and HD rebates?

Both of them need original proof of purchase.
