Shipping is deal breaker. The shipping for the same size poster yesterday was only $1.99. Why the sudden increase?

Costco dot com has 8X10's for $1.49 and 11X17's for $2.99 regular price, and no shipping as they are in-store pick-up. A friend let me know about this a few weeks ago and I've just ordered 3. Haven't picked them up yet, but I've gotten other large prints from Costco and was pleased with the quality.
