Seiko build quality has really impressed me. I recently bought an orange monster, and it has been on my wrist ever since. My Movados have been collecting dust in the meantime. This is very, very tempting at this price.
Seiko utilizes proprietary Hardlex crystals for their entry and mid-tier watches. More scratch resistant that regular mineral crystals, while also being more shatter resistant that expensive synthetic sapphire ones.

Reviews stating that and the opposite (that it scratches just as easy as regular mineral crystal) are about 50/50... so I wouldn't purchase it hoping it to be scratch resistant.
