I've seen a couple of discussions about calling Michelin to get this rebate. When I called the representative told me that they just put the rebate form online. It is at www.friendsforsavings.com. The offer is for $60 off a purchase of four Michelin tires. The offer expires 10/31/09.

Can't get your link to work. Try this: Rebate link

I bought a new set of Michelins ten days ago, and this will help offset the cost. Thanks, OP

Do you think this can be used in conjunction with the discount tire $70 rebate? (Attached Michelin rebate for viewing only as user info is void)

No, costco and Sam's Club won't work with this friends/family rebate.
People have tried in the past and were rejected.

Yes, this stacks with the discount tire promo.

I would think so. I combined the F&F with the a similar promotion at DT last month. At that time DT had a 70 of a set of four and I think another 50 or 60 off if u put the purchase on their card. I just received the F&F check the other day, and both DT checks so I saved a bunch.

Just bought another set of 4 the other day and called Michelin for the coupon. Just received it yesterday. I got the first one from a posting on CL

Off to DT to see if I can do a return / buy - I think they have a 30 day satisfaction guarantee -

Now ... anyone have a good deal on a set of Michelins?

Sears has a promotion of 3 free oil changes when we purchase 4 michelin tires, looks like a good deal if we combine with this rebate. Not sure how much they charge for installation, hazard warranty etc.

Discount Tire seems pretty good about pricematching Costco or Sams. Sams has instant $70 off. So if you buy at DT after pricematching Sams, then you could send in both DT rebate as well as Michelin rebate. So, if either of the rebates would work with a PM at Discount tire, that would probably be the way to go.

Buy from Direct Tire on their eBay store. Get 10% Bing Cash. Then send both $60 and $70 (I asked DT, they accept if bought from their eBay store) rebates. I think this should work. I just calculated and you can pretty much get one tire for free of four tires.

Where do you guys get the tires installed?

Discount Tire is a CashBack store on Bing with 10% CashBack. No need to go thru eBay. You might not be able to price match if you purchase it from eBay, but you can pricematch if you purchase it directly on their website or phone.

I recently purchased 4 Goodyear tires from DT and my 10% Bing CB is pending.

I got it installed at WalMart; purchased it from dicount tire.
Walmart Tire Charges

Total for mounting, life time balancing, valve stems, disposal fee for 4 tires was $58 + 7% (NJ) tax. I didn't find anything cheaper than this, not even close.

Damn, i just bought 4 Michelin tires from TireRack thru FW CashBack and it doesnt qualify for the $70 rebate. I wonder if TireRack is a qualified michellin retail location for the $60 rebate

Did anyone notice that at discounttire through bing that it offers free mounting and balancing? But then I couldn't find any mention on how to get it. It'll be great if that works. No sales tax, free mounting, bing CashBack, rebates,...!
