Was just at my local Sears where they had the floor model Nikon D60 with AF-S NIKKOR 18-55mm Lens for $253. Had to pick up a battery and charger but all in told a pretty sweet deal... VERY YMMV
Nah, it was just the floor model sitting in a locked case at the end of the aisle with a few other older model camera items. I'm usually hesitant of buying floor models but it's in perfect condition since Sears typcially is less of a electronic's playground....
Less of an electronics playground? I have seen more lenses missing off of slr cameras at Sears than Wal-Mart.

I actually inspected their setup for just that reason....I wanted to make sure no one was able to get inside the camera and poke around. They have a nifty lock which prevents you from pressing the release button on the body of the DSLR's. Either way, it was still a steal of a deal.
checked earlier today, none...but the department manager did not have any knowledge of DSLRs, instead she kept pushing the SX10 IS, which i already own...oh well, next time...thanks for the tip though.
