I agree, hope they do a similar deal on the 7 Quart at some point. Green nonetheless, this stuff is forever cookware when it's properly maintained (which is easy).
What are people using this for? I'm trying to see if I need it for anything. I already have an electric deep fryer and just bought a crockpot.

wikiwiki said: 4 for 3 promo means, you buy 4 units of the same item and pay only for the price of 3 units. So the 4th one is FREE.
Just to clarify: You don't have to buy 4 of the same thing. You just have to buy 4 items that are marked "4-for-3 eligible", and you get the least expensive of the 4 free. Here's the searchable list of all 4-for-3 eligible items.
What are people using this for? I'm trying to see if I need it for anything. I already have an electric deep fryer and just bought a crockpot. nothing cooks meat like an even heat, heat retaining cast iron. hows about making your own chili, baked beans, umm umm. ninja, this thing s3ars and browns meat like there's no tomorrow. you can get 20qt (5qt+5qt+5qt+5qt) for $120-$30=$90 (4:3 promo), now that's a bargain. ehhhh? dang! mamamoss, you're getting up there with them all-stars of great deal posters.

The 7 Qt. is $39.96 at WalMart.com with free site to store. Lookie Love this stuff. Papaw
Same exact model number, too. L10DOL3. Nice.
Edit: Amazon has now dropped to $51.43. WalMart still a better deal. In fact, I think this deal on the 7 Quart supercedes the original deal, unless the 4-for-3 thing is a factor for you.
Good deal @ WalMart. There's not one that's super close to me, so I'm not as tempted to jump. Did the ship to store thing a couple times before and I'd rather not from now on unless it's for something I desperately need.

Thank you Papaw for the heads up on WalMart. I wanted the 7-quart but wanted to use Paypal to pay. Amazon doesn't take Paypal but WalMart does.

This is one of the most versatile pieces of cookware you can imagine. Stews, casseroles, searing, braising...hell, you can fry in it if you need to. Lasts forever, just make sure you read up on caring for cast iron cookware.
