Math:
$799(T1i) + $449(Printer) - $127(CB) - $400(Rebate) = 723.2

You can fleabay the printer for around 200 making the deal go down to ~500

Feel free to threadcrap saying things like you rather work for fatwallet than to deal with bing CB

You should mention this is the KIT, too. This makes the deal a little bit sweeter since the lense will sell for another $100.

Great Deal. There is a printer going for $315 on Fleabay(item#150366687666). So that is like getting a great camera + good lens for $405. Or just the camera body for about $300(if you sell the lens too).

Great Post OP, I'm really tempted. Sorry if this is a Noob question, but how does the tier work? When I look for the store on Bing, it shows 6.2-10.2%. Your figures are obviously based upon the higher percentage. Sleekwallet, did you actually complete the sale with the ~$127 B-CB? Thanks!

yeah i did complete it but i have bad news, i haven't received the CB email yet

There is a thread about this on the "Other" site:SD, and there are a bunch of people reporting bingCB problems while a whole bunch already received it, its a hit or miss.

i think it usually takes a day or so before you get the CB pending notification from a buydig purchase.

yeah i already sent an email to Mr Bing, then do it on your own risk i guess

I haven't been getting the emails lately, but the order shows up in my account within 24 hours....odd but still acceptable.

Bing denied my Newegg CB. Waited 3 days, contacted their support morons and they say they can't find the transaction ID. Total bull as I followed the correct steps (logged into Bing CB, searched for Newegg, clicked on CB banner...). They're playing the rebate scam. Bing has lost a whole swath of customers, not just CB but on their silly search site as well.

BTW - why does the T1i page state "$400 total mail-in rebate on the Pixma Pro9000 Mk II..." while the Pixma Pro9000 page shows only a $100 rebate?

I believe the $100 rebate is just for the printer purchase. It clearly states $400 rebate with the purchase of select SLRs

I nearly got screwed by the Newegg-Bing tag team as well. Took several days of emails to both companies, but eventually they worked it out. I ended up with the full CashBack amount, and Newegg gave me a $15 credit for the aggravation. Bing support seems kind of sketchy though. In their case, you might want to put in a few support tickets in the hope that one of them ends up in the hands of someone halfway competent.

I also noticed CB being flaky earlier today. I cancelled/reordered from eBags twice before the CashBack showed up properly.

I am fairly new here but I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience with this rebate or a similar one. buydig and beachcamera can be sketchy at times. I bought my first dslr from beach camera and had a few problems with upselling, etc. Do they actually pay out? That's a pretty large rebate.
Has anyone else found similar CB from these sites with less hassel than Bing?
thanks
