Is Discover still doing the $20 worth of Discover CashBack for a $25 gift card to Red Lobster?

this topic usually gets interesting...

strange, I can see a red lobster right across my building, but when i search online, it shows 0 result.

Perfect. I'll take my wife for her B-day. She can get the endless biscuits and I'll get the Shrimp. MMMMM Shrimp......

Green 4 U
Dam work computer wont let be give you green 8v(

$17 in Mpls..tasty, but I probably won't get my money's worth.

Last time they had this deal, they basically kicked me out when I got to around 150 or so. Green for you OP! Btw...$16 in Atlanta area.

Mmmmmmm Shrimp!

Discovercard currently offers $50 for $45

Yummy... yummy... It's 16.99 in LA, CA area. Wonder if there is a limit when they'll stop you like the previous poster reaching 150 (that's a LOT of shrimps). BTW, for those of you watching you cholesterol this might not be such a good thing as shrimps are very high in cholesterol

Cheers,

JB

I remember this was $9.99 only 4 years ago. They do this every year about this time, and I used to go for my birthday; it's my favorite restaurant. Unfortunately, it's way too expensive now.

about the cholesterol thing...Rockefeller University did a study & they found shrimp to be acceptable to heart healthy diets. the butter & the fried batter on the other hand...

They're keeping a low profile. You have to find it manually, by walking over there. They need to keep a low profile for two reasons. First, some people wait for this kind of deal just so they can go there and eat 150 shrimp. Second, they're afraid someone might steal the secret of their famous Krabby Patty.

hope its not one per person!..... wifey can eat the biscuits and i eat shrimp-- still $17 is way too much

thanks OP!

Time to grab some popcorn (shrimp) and just wait for the negative posting...
Right up there with the Olive Garden topic for entertainment value.

Thanks OP! I haven't taken advantage of this in the past few years, but perhaps this year will be the time.

What's the greatest shrimp/dish pick with the least amount of non-shrimp fluff you have to eat?
Is it still the scampi?

Haven't been there since college.. we ravaged the place.
They ran out of shrimp scampi shrimp, and had to resort to using other kinds of shrimp.
Our bill ended up to be too long to fit on the door of our rooms without snipping it up.

Mmmm. Shrimp farmed in toxic sludge.

I am gonna hold out for not just endless but also headless shrimps.

Are you one of these organic vegans who will only eat things grown in shit?

A couple of years ago (5-6?) Red Lobster's CEO lost her job because the Endless Crab promotion was run when crab wholesale prices were high. I'd like to think that I played a small part in that. If coconut shrimp are included in this the current CEO should just resign now. I'm on my way over.

Thanks for the post. I'm going to ignore the cholesterol warnings and partake in a little shellfishness.

oh boy. I hope I don't get iodine poisoning. Green!

It's your lucky day. the special says " Teriyaki Grilled Shrimp, Cajun Shrimp, Garlic Shrimp Scampi, Hand-Breaded Shrimp, and Coconut Shrimp Bites"

DONT eat the bread, it will fill you up, I know its really good but stay away and go crazy when the shrimp comes.

Most restaurant foods that include the word "bite" can't be good food.

thanks

awesome deal, much better than the OG promo. Shrimp is expensive and a pain to cook whereas, pasta is cheap and easy to cook.

They make you wait too long for refills. You eventually get bored and leave. It sucks there.

i miss the crab all u can eat

the shrimp is too small.. but it's still good. I always tell the waiter there's a nice tip waiting for them if they serve it faster.

can we have this to-go when we're full?

While it sounds like a good deal be prepared to wait a L O N G time for your shrimp "refills" which will be limited to 1 selection at a time. The last time it took the kitchen 20-25 minutes each time. Hardly endless.

If they let you they will only let you take the last plate you ordered (ie they won't bring more out for you just to take home).

Are these shrimp Deveined ?

Think its ok for one person to order a "cheap" entree and share the endless shrimps??

Dwight Schrute would certainly hope so.

went yesterday... omg i think i'm about to have a heart attack

George, the ocean called, said they're running out of shrimp.

fastabc2000 said: went yesterday... omg i think i'm about to have a heart attack
cause by shrimp or the endless wait?

Sounds like the greatest case of false advertising since "The Never Ending Story".

I'm sure that would get you the boot ... don't think they look too kindly on all-you-can-eat sharing.
