Yummy... yummy... It's 16.99 in LA, CA area. Wonder if there is a limit when they'll stop you like the previous poster reaching 150 (that's a LOT of shrimps). BTW, for those of you watching you cholesterol this might not be such a good thing as shrimps are very high in cholesterol
I remember this was $9.99 only 4 years ago. They do this every year about this time, and I used to go for my birthday; it's my favorite restaurant. Unfortunately, it's way too expensive now.

about the cholesterol thing...Rockefeller University did a study & they found shrimp to be acceptable to heart healthy diets. the butter & the fried batter on the other hand...
courzen said: strange, I can see a red lobster right across my building, but when i search online, it shows 0 result. They're keeping a low profile. You have to find it manually, by walking over there. They need to keep a low profile for two reasons. First, some people wait for this kind of deal just so they can go there and eat 150 shrimp. Second, they're afraid someone might steal the secret of their famous Krabby Patty.
What's the greatest shrimp/dish pick with the least amount of non-shrimp fluff you have to eat? Is it still the scampi?
Haven't been there since college.. we ravaged the place. They ran out of shrimp scampi shrimp, and had to resort to using other kinds of shrimp. Our bill ended up to be too long to fit on the door of our rooms without snipping it up.
A couple of years ago (5-6?) Red Lobster's CEO lost her job because the Endless Crab promotion was run when crab wholesale prices were high. I'd like to think that I played a small part in that. If coconut shrimp are included in this the current CEO should just resign now. I'm on my way over.
Thanks for the post. I'm going to ignore the cholesterol warnings and partake in a little shellfishness.

It's your lucky day. the special says " Teriyaki Grilled Shrimp, Cajun Shrimp, Garlic Shrimp Scampi, Hand-Breaded Shrimp, and Coconut Shrimp Bites"
While it sounds like a good deal be prepared to wait a L O N G time for your shrimp "refills" which will be limited to 1 selection at a time. The last time it took the kitchen 20-25 minutes each time. Hardly endless.

Sounds like the greatest case of false advertising since "The Never Ending Story".
