Just picked one up at the Walgreens off the Alcosta Blvd exit of HWY 680 in Dublin/San Ramon California. There is 4 more there. Phone includes 10 minutes free.

Special orange tag on shelf said $10 regular price - $7.31 Now $2.69

More info about this phone is here:

Its a very basic phone. But if you wanna give one to the kids, well..... If they lose this, who cares?

Heck, the USB charger inside the package is probably worth more.

Hardware-wise, the phone is only equipped to work with 850/1900 networks. There's nothing you can do on the software side to get around that.

I have no clue what you are talking about, but I need to know if this phone is working well here in the U. S.? I am planning to get a prepaid phone for my 5th grader for emergency use only, so this one looks like a great deal. Please advise, thanks a lot.
