Optoma has come up with a new 1080p native resolution projector in the market for $999.
BenQ also has a similar projector w1000 for the same price and so does vivitek.

How good is this projector? Thanks.

projectorreviews.com says it has a noisy fan. Best off waiting for a deal since this is regular price.

I have the 720p version with a 100" screen. Love it for football games.

HD Cable Box -> HDMI input.

I've hard this projector might have some problems with sports because of the motion blurring caused by the DLP. I haven't tried it myself though, but for most movies it should be great. Anyone know how much the replacement bulb costs?

3000 hours of bulb life and $249 retail for a replacement bulb. The bulbs begin to dim so you won't have the same brightness at 2000 hours that you had at 100 hours. AVSForum.com is a great source for PJ info. Got lots of great info there before deciding on the Panny PT-AE4000U and a 133" Da-Lite screen.

OP, this isn't a great deal since it's MSRP.

Thanks. Is there other way since I don't have HD Box?

It also has component and composite inputs. Component (RGB) is preferable (you'll have red, green and blue cables) to composite (single yellow cable).
