Sorry newbie to posting usually only read the deals but thought I would start trying...

If you sign up for Directv during 9/2-9/7 in Sam's Clubs stores or by calling 866-941-2263 you get a free Plus Membership upgrade for 1 year ($60 value) and a free year of HD access ($120 value). If you are already a plus member then you only get the HD access for free (not a great deal if you are already a plus member).

I believe it only works for new customers, Directv considers a new customer as anyone who hasn't had Directv for the last 24 months.
