The newly announced price reduction brings the elite bundle to $299 but without games or HDMI.
But Amazon still has the bundle in stock, for the new price.
Can't imagine this will last very long.

no HDMI? Why would they remove that connection?

They're not removing the port. There just won't be a free HDMI cable.

Also note that the product linked is the new no-bundle Elite. You have to click on the "Holiday Bundle" or Spring Bundle" to get the games and HDMI cable.

Bear in mind the bundle 360 is the older Falcon model, and the new Elite is a Jasper. I know which I'd go for...

I believe the spring 09 bundle is also a Jasper model?
