Are the Elite models from Dell the newer Jasper chipset or are they still shipping the old boxes? Comments on Amazon indicate that they were getting Elite Jaspers in the white boxes purchased from there.
I keep getting an error when trying to use the 2nd day shipping code saying that the items in the cart aren't eligible...even though I only have the Elite in the cart. Any ideas?

I get ineligible alerts for both coupons with only the elite in the cart as well.

I called in to try and apply the coupons got put on hold to verify the coupons (10+ minutes total) CSR came back on the line after an additional 5 minutes to say she was still trying to apply the coupons, back on hold for another 5 minutes, rinse and repeat of the CSR saying she was trying to apply the coupon the csr then stated you can only apply one coupon code at one time. I explained to the CSR that neither code worked one at a time, or both at the same time and asked to be escalated to the supervisor. (20 minutes of total call time).
At the 20 minute mark I'm about ready to call this deal as DEAD, but maybe i'm just unlucky. Any successful purchasers want to share?
EDIT 2: At about the 30 minute mark the CSR returned to the line, accepted both coupons and was ready to go, then my call was dropped mid giving her my credit info.
YMMV. I'm out and not bother upgrading, or will do the Amazon deal and resell the halo 3 disc for the savings.

If you didn't know it already, this deal is still alive as of today! I entered the 15% off code at checkout. It took 3 tries before it took and Dell's web site is VERY slow. It automatically offered me free 2 day shipping at checkout without the code. I was already to buy when my son (who's xbox just went bad) said he didn't want to wait for shipping because he's getting Beatles RB tomorrow and already has the 120GB drive from old xbox! Wondering if you get 5% FW CB to boot.
I just tried it and it was still working on arcade units, dropped the price to 169.99 before taxes, you can also get free 2nd day air on your orders too, no coupon required.
I ordered XBox 360 Elite at $254.99 + tax $21 = $276 and then after one day I called to change the item from xbox to Wii console. Rep told me that order is in production and cannot change so he suggested to place another order and return this order. I placed another order for Wii console. Now they are saying they will charge a restocking fee 15%. I can sell mine if anyone interested in Houston area, PM me. I just received the package on Sep 10th, still in the box with invoice. I am going to return in a week time.
09/13/2009: Update - Already gone. I gave it for $240 cash. Thanks to Razorwyre for coming and picking up today.

Sorry, already gone. Razorwyre came and picked up this afternoon, I gave it for $240 cash, it is close to what I get when I return to Dell. Thanks to Fatwallet for connecting people.
I wouldn't count on it, as the wording of the official press release says "when you purchase an Xbox 360 Elite for $299, Xbox 360 will put $50 back into your pocket with a limited-time rebate." If the terms of the actual rebate say the same, then they're probably going to deny purchases that are below retail price($299) because of coupons, etc. Certainly, other rebates have involved similar terms in the past.
EDIT: Ok, the rebate page is up now, and it doesn't have any restrictions on price that I can see, so this should make for one hell of a deal.
Elite is pulled from Dell's site... guess out of stock... but 15% Bing CashBack is supposedily on now. Not sure if it's good for consoles/games though.
So, I guess after coupon and bing the arcade would be $145. I don't know anything about Xboix 360. Would this be worth getting? Are games included?

I just called to cancel my order as well but was not offered the $25 credit (just a heads up for anyone wanting to try). They might be offering it only for certain orders.
