First post...

299.99 - 47.99 (16% Sears CashBack through bing) = 251.99 + 18.89 for sales tax (NC) + 7.50 for shipping = 278.38. I just checked and looks like Sears is selling them for pre-order until 9/1 online. Will bing CashBack work on preorders? Maybe we can wait until 9/1 and then they will be selling them for in-store pickup, so we don't have to pay for shipping. So potentially we could get it for 270.88 if we can get in-store pickup.

There was a thread about this yesterday when they were clearing out the old playstations. IT is not clear if Bing would work here for a preorder,

No big deal, if Bing work we keep it, don't work we return to store for refund and go Bing somewhere else! GREEN UP for this new member!

Great post OP

Has anyone tried to get this through bing/Sears for the 16% for the pre-sale?

bing CashBack for Sears is 2-16%. what's the odds of getting the full 16%? not happening

The bing is 16% when you search "kenmore"...Just wondering if because it is a pre-sale...will bing accept it as a sale....Just wondering if anyone has done this yet and if the CashBack showed up in their account or they are waiting for it to show up

Anyone have a quick summary of what's given up/gained on the slim?

How do you get the 16% to show up? I've tried "kenmore" and I get a bunch of vacuum bags + such, only a few of which are sold by Sears.com

None of them were offering 16%, that I could tell.

Go to bing.com. If you are using Firefox make sure your Ad blocker plus is disabled. Search on "Kenmore". In the sponsored sites section at the top you should see a link to Sears.com with a gold circle with a white $ in the middle. Beside that is the link to the Sears website which when you click it it will show a splash screen for 16% CashBack. Then once on the Sears website just search for playstation 3.

Why not just get it from Newegg for $270 with no tax/shipping?

Us Californians:

A) Get Taxed by Newegg
B) Need instant gratification
C) Are still wondering why we chose to live here amongst the ridiculous budget/governing
D) All of the above

Ever heard of Google?

I think they're making it bigger.

I don't think bing is giving 10% on Newegg since yesterday. Its only 3 %

Us New Jersians can say the same exact thing.

Here's a big stat line: "The PS3 Slim's (presumed) power consumption reduction is closer to 50 per cent less than the original fat 60GB PS3."

i had one on order, canceled, went for Amazon. with shipping/sales tax. delay was not worth it.

What was the delay...How long did it say?

but the power consumption for models since the original is already lower, so the slim doesn't save much power compared to any model bu the first version.

apparently people don't appreciate sarcasm the way they used to ............

Did anyone actually order one from Sears through bing.com?

If so how much was your total cost including shipping???

The bing.com site shows the CashBack rate for Sears to be BETWEEN 2 and 16% How do you know what your discount will be??

I'm trying to decide if I should just pick one up from target or WalMart for $299.

Just got emailed I got 16% back from Bing through Sears. My total was $398 and change tax and shipping to NYC (Ordered Madden 2010 as well) . Earned back $57.12. Basically got the game for free!

Sears doesn't have free shipping? Still, it's nice to get a free game.

I bought the Drakes 160gb old model PS3 last friday and clicked though after searching for Craftsman on bing to get the 16% link.

Some people had no problem and the $48 showed up in their CashBack account. For some reason mine showed as 2% but I emailed bing and they were able to get the 16% applied and $48 is now pending in my account.

You can now select store pickup on this deal making it $270.88 after tax and bing CashBack.

Is shipping and tax calculated in Bing CashBack? or only original price?

I am getting only 8% bing CashBack now for Sears.

$48 showed in my account today..I got my 16%

Tried purchasing through Bing, only was credited $6 or 2%...canceled my order.

Searching for kenmore gets me 8% currently. Know of any other keywords that will get 16% still?
