Advance Auto Parts has 5 quarts of any Mobil 1 & Mobil 1 filter for $29.99. There's the $10 off of $25 coupon $10 off $25 good until 9/1/09 and then there's the $10 MIR $10 MIR good until 8/31/09. Definitely YMMV with the $10 off $25 coupon since the oil is already on special, but may be worth a shot to some. Good luck.
I got the valvoline special last time with coupon but it was definitely YMMV...even at the same store depends on the cashier. So if it don't work first time try going back another day.

MIR - Receive a $10 rebate on a future Mobil 1 five quart purchase or oil change service.
My advance store takes the coupon every time. The last time they even handed it back to me to keep and said use it again. I used it for the pennsoil sale..$5 a quart w/$15 rebate and coupon. Think I will go back for the mobil1 offer too Thanks
Autozone has a better deal. They have a $19.99 synthetic oil change special with a Fram Tough Guard oil filter. Mobil 1 5+ quart jug is included in this deal, so get it. For the oil + filter it is $19.99 minus the $10 rebate to total of $9.99 for 5.3 quarts of Mobil 1 plus the Fram TG oil filter. Great! But beware because the Fram TG line does not encompases most of the cars. Out of my 3 cars, only one (09 RAM 1500) had a Fram TG oil filter model. I dunno if you can substitute with a regular Fram filter.

OP's deal is Mobil1 oil + Mobil 1 filter.. no??? I don't think Fram is anywhere as goos as the Mobil 1 filters.. But then again, the manufacture quality changes every so often...
From what I read on a very informative website (forgot the name), Fram TG is their better line, and perhaps even better than more expensive Double Guard line. They called TG "decent". Fram regular is a POS (I think everyone knows that).

Got a link or is it in store only? Don't see where they state Mobil-1 is an option... only Valvoline.

I am a member of the Rewards Club (or whatever they call it) and I got an in-store coupon on the mail. It also included a coupon for a regular oil change special with the regular Fram oil filter for $12.99. I couldn't scan the coupons since lightning crapped out most of the electronics in the house.
For those that aren't familiar with it, that MIR is a modified version. The original had a unique serial number that printed on the form. Since it was highly modified to remove its unique bar code and numbers, YMMV on getting it approved.

Valvoline has made a claim that their synthetic oil protects better than the "industry leading" Mobil 1 5-w30. That's a helluva deal, IMO, for Valvoline synthetic if it is $19.99. Locally, it's $26.99 for 5qts of Valvoline Synpower & a Fram filter. Decent deal, but for $3 more, you can get the Mobil1 deal with thE superior Mobil1 filter.
I've used the 10$ off 25$ a few times in different stores with one store didn't accept it. You should state that a friend had used this before. There's also a Pennzoil deal at AAP and 5$ and 10$ rebates depending on what kind of oil you buy.Pennzoil rebate

haven't heard this before...anyone submit this form before got the rebate? The consensus is the rebate form is a fake (actually a modified rebate form from a promotion Mobil 1 ran long ago). More details here. Note this particular gem: patelaaa said: Dead - Dead -- Dead
this mobil1 rebate form is fack. go to www.mobile1.com and check the promotion link this rebate is already closed and postmark date is 6/15/2009
thnx Good luck getting your rebate, guys. I'm staying away from this one.
EDIT: As a side note, my experiences with Mobil 1 are largely positive. If enough people get duped by this fake rebate form, they may honor it. It's still too much of a gamble for me. I already got my check from the AFE rebate in the aforementioned thread using the form that printed with the serial number, etc. I haven't heard from anyone who used this modified form yet...

worked for me. Just got my rebate check yesterday.
Did I miss something? I bought the oils from Advanced Auto and used the coupon with no problem BUT the very first time ever I got my rebate declined because Advanced Auto was NOT in the qualified store list which I have never seen the store list anywhere online or on the form. Am I missing something here?

Interesting. Typically, I buy from Advance Auto parts because they're cheaper.
But for this rebate, I bought my 10qts and two filters from Autozone ($29.99).
