use the free google picasa prg as your upgrade prg

If you read the Newegg thread you'd see that some people think it's an OEM product rather than retail. No question here - the rebates on the box. And if you have an ink coupon to boot, it's almost free.

Edit: On eggs front page ad there's an asterisk that says $50 after rebate underneath in very light lettering. Is that the upgrade rebate or some other rebate? The product page doesn't say anything about a rebate.

What is an ink coupon?

i purchased from egg and was charged 50 that isnt after a MIR

Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 - Mini Box - Retail

That is how Newegg describes the package.

Just got my copy from the egg today. On the back of the box it says "No Rebate" right over the barcode.

i got the same thing from the egg. im going to complain about it. probably get me nothing but it should say OEM if it isnt retail.
