Price depends on which size you buy and shipping and tax depend on where you live.
My deal is as follows: 205R65-15 Michelin Weather Edge 90,000 mile AB/T rated (hot weather/stable @ 120mph) for $68 each times four is $272 plus $55.62 shipping less 3.4% CashBack less $60 Michelin rebate for four tires. That comes out to about $70/tire. TireRack ships the tires to an authorized installer and they are mounted at posted fees...our guy charges $14/ tire for stems, mounting, balancing and old tire disposal.
I had no idea that the good price was only on the size I bought today for my "odd ball" Toyota Camry LE. Did I luck out or what??!!
Re finding an authorized installer, at The Tire Rack homepage, about half way down the screen, click on "Getting it installed," enter your zip code and up will come some choices. Of course you could aways ship them to yourself and go to Wal-Mart and buy the install and balance for life deal.
Anyway, I ordered these "odd balls" this morning around 8 am Eastern Time and within 6 hours got a comfimation that they had been shipped via UPS Ground.
This is definitely not an 'odd ball' size. It is the size for most mid-size to luxury sedans. I just changed mine (same size mentioned for infiniti i30/nissan maxima) @ costco with the $70 discount. This deal is way hotter. wish I had waited.
I realize that part about installation, my question was in regards to the rebate, as the fine print didn't really state where you could have and perhaps not have bought the tires from (like from your local mom-and-pop repair place), like most other rebates I've encountered.
195/65R15 Michelin HydroEdge 4 x $69.00 $276.00 Shipping Sub-Total: $37.34 Sales Tax: $0.00 Excise Tax: $0.00 State Waste Tire Fund Fee: $0.00
Order Total: $313.34
Comes to $58.40 per tire after CB/Rewards/Rebate, and $68.40 for a local place to install them at, incl. stems and disposal fees.
40% cheaper then going to Costco for the same tires, CB/Rewards/Rebate. Dang.
I take it that you did buy the tires. (And, I'm happy to hear that this helped you!) If you go to the rebate hyperlink it asks you your name the car and some other things and then presents you with a form to print out and complete with the info from the paper invoice TireRack says it will send in a week or so. The blanks ask for where you bought the tires and IV #, date purchased and the year, make and model of your car. The rebate has a consumer ID # on it.
Since I got to the rebate thru The Tire Rack homepage and Tire Rack lists many Michelin tires, I'm assuming that Michelin recognizes Tire Rack.

All,
FWIW, I haven't bought tires from anybody but TireRack for probably 10 years. Their website is fantastic and phone service, if required, is also great. Having them drop shipped to a local installer (doesn't necessarily need to be one of their Authorized Installers) is the way to go.

I bought mine for a daughter way out in New Mexico. I haven't heard yet that the tires are there and on the car. I did send in the rebate form yesterday. I'll report in as things unfold.
Discount will honor this price YMMV, I used there website to get a price match and had no problems when they called back, even got the right size tire for my car, I paid $61 a tire.
Also got them before the discount rebate expired, plus the family and friends, we will see how the rebates work out, but if all goes well I will have scored a set of 4 for the price of 2.
I bought a set of HydroEdge from Discount Tire Direct with a $75 rebate. They are good tires but then again I had bald Kumho. I paid for more money per tire this time because they last longer. I have these on my 03 Corolla and they are not loud and perform very well.
