If it were not for the 2 yr contract I would have taken it. There is a disconnect fee of $90 if you cancel before 2 years. There is no limitation based on my conversation with the rep on the # of minutes you spend every month. Anyone ok with the contract will find this deal awesome.

I don't consider this as a better deal than Vonage, since Vonage with 20% off comes down to $20 per month. But competition is good for consumers, will look forward for more deals.
Check terms and conditions. "F. Residential Use of Service and Device
If you have subscribed to Lingo ’s residential Services, the Service and Device are provided to you as a residential user, for your personal, residential, non-business and non-professional use. This means that you are not using them for any commercial or governmental activities, profit-making or non-profit, including but not limited to home office, business, sales, telecommuting, telemarketing, autodialing, continuous or extensive call forwarding, fax broadcast, fax blasting or any other activity that would be inconsistent with normal residential usage patterns. This also means that you are not to resell or transfer the Service or the Device to any other person for any purpose, or make any charge for the use of the Service, without express written permission from Lingo in advance. You agree that your use of the Service and/or Device, or the use of the Service and/or Device provided to you by any other person for any commercial or governmental purpose will obligate you to pay Lingo ’s higher rates for commercial Service on account of all periods, including past periods, in which you use, or used, the Service for commercial or governmental purposes. Lingo reserves the right to immediately terminate or modify the Service, if Lingo determines, in its sole discretion, that Customer’s Service is being used for non-residential or commercial use. Lingo deems the usage of 5,000 or more minutes per month in violation of this Section III(F), and shall subject Customer to the immediate suspension and/or termination of the Service. "

In my opinion, if this is the same company, and I'm pretty sure it is, I bought stock in them a few years ago... it's worth nothing now... I hope they provide better phone service than shareholder service!!!

this company is horrible, i signed up once for the same plan, like three years ago, after 2 months they changed the terms on me without telling me, then i got a bill for around $600. Obviusly i didnt want to pay for it and then i went to collections... worst experience in my life.
I had Lingo service in the past, the company is very bad - check out reviews online before anyone signs up! They charge you additional money on your credit card and then it takes forever to get a refund. Their VOIP management website is like a decade old, not to mention I had many problems with the call quality as well.
The worst indeed. They will trick you as well, as much as they can to trap you into unnecessary charges. And as other have said, getting that money back is nearly impossible. I m surprised the Feds haven't locked these guys up yet.
forget the WAR you decide get an unlocked PAP2 and Bring Your Own Service/Devise (BYOD) (BTW the PAP2 works with 2 lines at once so so you can run one and test another
Voip is not that hard to set up and there is a LOT of help out here
the best way to start is with Google Voice (GV) and Gizmo5 (you need have another phone # with GV before you can add Gizmo to GV)
in my book some of the winners are
Gizmo5 Voxalot Future Nine (i actually have credit with them and the winner in my book)
