For new subscribers. High speed internet 19.99/month for 6months. + 75 CB + FAR MODEM / ROUTER. EXP 9/15.

This is damn good offer as I understand. I am so frustrated I am using it @42.99. I called Comcast, I cannot cancel my current service and request for new promotion within 4months. *(&(*&&*^&*^&*(^ So upset.

shows $19.99 for 3 months...

probably YMMV on that portion.
I checked mine,

sadly for my roswell (near atlanta) location they only offer 59/month for internet

How reliable is the rebate and how much is the installation? There are a lot of complaints against Comcast resellers like Comcastoffers.com. Buyers beware!

what are monthly charges after 6 months? offer does not include monthly service charge, equipment fee for all the equipments supplied. taxes? website does not specify anything clearly. why this shady way of attracting customers?

I've done comastoffers three times, and no problems whatsoever. As long as you submit the rebate as directed, you can track it online and rec'v a check. It does take a long time to rec'v a check, but no issues in that respect.

they are usually 100CB along w/ other stuff u mentioned...

I have done the comcastoffers a couple of times and got back all my rebates.

Regular charge after 6 months period is $59.99... ouch!!

Somewhere it mentioned that the option is for 3 months. So, I called.... oh no!!.... I was told the offer is for 6 months, and she finished my order and transferred to comcast to schedule a installation (costs $49.99), that guy upped my offer to 1 year for 19.99 and cut my installation charge by half to $25.... lucky day

I signed up for this last year, they activated me, set me up, then told me they couldn't charge $20/month, they could only do $35 per month. I argued and they said they'd turn me off and charge me a $150 cancellation fee or I have to pay $35 per month. Bastards! Be sure to screen shot everything and read all the fine print.

I have never received my rebates. Unfortunately, I lost the copy of the rebate submission. They denied it totally.

I got this deal back when I was in college and had 3 other roommates. Every 3 months we would cancel our service and have someone else sign up, and after a year the first person was eligible again. We paid $19.99 a month for 2 years

No, $19.99 for 6months.

Anything comparable for people who do not have cable TV?

Nice to see staff members encouraging cheating. Maybe I should switch service to my wife's name and then each of our three cats.

In my defense, we were all poor full time students with little extra money. I spoke with a representative at the cable company asking if we could have this deal extended given our situation, and she advised me to just keep canceling service and having someone else sign back up.

Why not get $100 back instead and support FW while doing it?

I've been on a $20/mo Comcast plan in Atlanta for several months...I'm locked in for a year at that price. It's sweet.

$19.99/mo with one year commitment is currently available.

I use our dogs name to sign up for things all the time for freebies, etc. I even received a pre-approved credit card issued (not my doing) in my 12-year old Standard Poodle's name. She only had a $2000 credit limit though....

I don't know if it's still the case, but a lot of people had problems getting rebates from Comcast Offers. Others had double billing from Comcast and Comcast Offers. I'd be hesitant.

Both are garbage. They both offer me rates higher than what I'm already paying for internet. ($10 dollars more, same Performance-level High-speed Internet)

Are you not an existing member of Comcast?

The "Professional Installation" fee of $50, how could I waive that...

yuanliu1 said: The "Professional Installation" fee of $50, how could I waive that...
By saying you don't want the professional installation?

ha, that is a good answer.
for non-cable user, I do not think I can proceed to "check-out" by saying I don't want the professional installation
if you can, pls let me know, I could argue with them.

I went the Best Buy route (Houston area). It is for HSI only and once your account is activated Best Buy will mail me a $75 rebate (expect two to four week delay). The offer I got once I called for an installation is $19.99/month for six months (plus $20 installation because a technician has to come and make a connection somewhere in the neighborhood). The rep told me that I should check during this period to see if I can extend the offer. We'll see. It is a good start I guess. I have my own modem (Linksys CM100).

Besides the 50$ installation fee, there is another 14.95$ to ground ship the router and modem to my home..
nahh, i would pass.

I just moved into a new house where the old owners had comcast internet. I just got service on the 23rd of August. I went through the same BS of the install fee and decided to call them to bypass all the fees. I spoke with Ivy and she told me there would be no problems. Walla...I couldn't get service until the old homeowner time was up and then wouldn't give the $20 a month promo, that it was online only. Well, again spoke to someone else and they wouldn't give the promo rate and that it was for subscribers with tv and or phone. No where did it say you needed to have these other plans. Of course they tell you to read the terms and conditions that is conveniently small and nobody reads. So I told them to stick in their behinds and I signed up with at&t instead. I hate when they advertise something then somewhere else there is always a catch.

$50 installation fee sucks. And it is also separate modem + router. Which is not as good as the integrated wireless modem offered by comcastoffers.com. They are also offering $100 rebate instead of the $75 here.

It said in fine print:

'Advertised prices only available with subscription to all 3 services. If any service is canceled or downgraded during the promotional period, Comcast's regular charges apply for any remaining services. Comcast's current monthly service charge for all three services ranges from $117.90 to $142.90, depending on area.'

???

I just got my comcast bill and found that they auto apply the discount to me(an existing subscriber). After subtracting $22, I am paying $19.95 for my comcast internet now. Hmm, but their cable service is really bad, I lost some channels now and then

This reminded me of the days way back.. Every 6 months I would cancel my cable & modem and then sign up under a new name with multiple agents. As long as you did not activate service until you were done 'signing up for service' you could pretty much sign up with every vendor on the planet, get all MIR's and FAR modems and only end up with one service. So about every 6 months I would get a new service at $19.99 for 6 months, 3-4 FAR modems, and about $600-$800 in MIR rebates. This lasted for about two years, and I still have about 3 of those modems lying aroud, LOL. Real nice when you are on a tight budget.

The details show: Receive first 3 months of Comcast High-Speed Internet for $19.99 after service activation. After promotional period, regular monthly service and equipment charges apply. Offer may not include equipment charges.

I do not see 6 months!

Can someone please confirm?
