Thanks, OP, for posting this. I have a friend who really enjoys these flowering teas. At about $5.50 a box for four boxes, this will make a good and reasonably priced gift for her.

That is cool concept. One thing I would be worried about is making sure you boil the heck out of the "hand sewn" flowers.

Just to add to this, I saw the Numi's bouquet bamboo gift set is $12.50 again for the Friday sale. I don't know which set would be better, the Numi's or the Primula.

Numi's gift set
this teapot is only a third of pecan's orig. post. btw, pecan, your teapot w/6pk teas dropped to $14.00.

You're right about that; I didn't see the Numi set on the Amazon page I landed on after the link, only the Primula. If it's there, sorry! Not meaning to spam or anything.

Thanks OP. A friend gave me a glass teapot, flowering tea assortment, and tea light heater/stand set and I definitely loved it. Anyone who drinks tea will appreciate the novelty/beauty of the flowering teas, but can also use the tea pot to steep their loose tea leaves (and even regular tea bags if the wanted), so this would make a great gift.

I just noticed the the price of the 12 packs have all dropped to $7 (funny because Amazon usually jacks their prices up when they get a lot interest in an item)

Numi's gift set

i didn't include the numi in this post. the numi brand does go to $12.50 almost every friday, so if you want it get it now or hope next friday it will be reduced again. by tomorrow it will be up to around $30. i like the numi, but my lid didn't fit well on the teapot. maybe the primula would be better? don't know.

thanks, PecanPie!
