These cartridges will not produce the same quality printing as OEM Canon & will clog up your Canon printhead, which will cost at least $75. to replace. I'm speaking from experience. Some generic products are equal to the OEM; THESE ARE NOT! In most instances you get what you pay for. This is the poster child for that premise. YOU'RE PAYING FOR CHEAP CRAP & YOU'RE GETTING CHEAP CRAP.

Haha... been using these for years. They work just fine. I prefer spending $2 on a replacement ink tank instead of $20, but that's just me.
Great deal OP!

This company is not too honest. They charged me 120% tax on my purchase to increase their profit. They said it is their company policy to do that.
I placed an order of $0.62 and the tax was $0.68, instead of $0.05. USPS, UPS, FEDEX, DHL never charge tax on shipping.
The only problem I've encountered with generic carts on my Canon ip3000 happened just this year. The black carts started giving it up after about a third of the ink was drawn out. After replacing 2 or three of them I went down to a store near me and picked up a generic for $2.50 and popped it in. That did the trick. I actually had to push down hard to get it to click in place. The bad carts almost went in by their own weight. I guess the spout at the bottom of the cart was just a little short and was sucking air. Probably why it didn't just go dry instantly but was getting fainter with each use.
All the bad carts were from the same shipment - that's why I never buy in large lots. Reminds me of a guy that bought over 100 hard drives for his business and they all had the same bad component. He had to pull em all out. Of course he blamed WD or Maxtor and would never buy another. - LOL

WATCH OUT FOR CROOKS.
I would be blaming your state legislators for that, not eforcecity.
Some state, California residents for instance are required to collect tax on the non-discounted price of the item.
I bought alot from eforce, great prices and check out their reseller ratings of 9.09/10.
disclamer: I am in no way affiliated with eforce city. Opinions expressed are my own and do not reflects the opinions of management.

the only sales tax charged on non-discounted price are on cell phones in CA that i have ever seen. but CA does charge tax on shipping and handling in most cases.

i've encountered the same problem once a few years ago on my ip3000 also. i just taped the cartridge down onto the holder.
Also check price on eforcityeBay store. I have consistently found that their price on eBay store is much lower that eforcity.com.

Can anyone recommend a good non-OEM ink source for my Canon Pixma ip4000 printer? I used Abacus for a long time with my older Canon printers and never had any problem, but with the ip4000 they keep running out of ink even when I'm not using my printer, may be I got a bad lot or something? I need to try a different provider, thanks.
