Sounds like a leftover "special" from the "Old GM"...

Learn how to post, please.
Besides, this deal sucks.

Red for non-descriptive title. Please include what your deal is about in the title of your post.

worst title ever, wow

and what the hell is up with the "or less" comment? I'm actually LMAO, I think this has to be a joke, nobody could post something this crappy

I'll take it for less!

IB4TL

Can you tell us LESS about the actual deal?

Damn, I clicked in thinking it was a Porsche for $39.99 or less...

I wasn't sure if the $39.95 was for a brand new Ferrari or a used paperclip. I really wanted that paperclip.

I think her username gives it away -- adgirl??? i wonder who you work for!!

The details in the title are overwhelming.

Red.

I was hoping for it to be a new car.
Or at least an all inlcued trip to Disneyworld.

Some people can not read or are too lazy to read, but under the $39.95 or less title, words state that this post is categorized as a Oil Change Service. Not a great deal, but without clicking the link, you will be able to see that the post is for a Oil Change Service for $39.95 or less.

give the "girl" a break, they don't know much about car maintence

A lot of us prefer the older Fatwallet Classic view, which is a lot easier to read but does not have those little category descriptions under the main title which you so arrogantly assumed were visible for everyone.

Anyway, why are you defending a horrible title? This is as bad as they get, at least until someone posts "Stuff for sale at some store."

OP, I see that this is only your second post in 5 months. If the response to this thread has not scared you away from FatWallet, the following will be useful to you in the future:

Deal Hunting 101 - tips, tricks and cheats to find and post the best deals

According to the second link: "Include store name/location, product, price, and conditions (coupon, price match, subscribe for a year, etc.) in the title so people can quickly determine if your deal fits their profile. PLEASE use the real store name to improve search-ability and reduce reposts!"

HTH. Welcome to the community. Keep learning and keep posting.

you were advertised as knowing it all. i would like a refund.

$40 or less? Midas (or most other places) does the same oil change for $20

What's the record for a negative post rating? This one is at -67.

Mind-boggling how out of touch GM is with America, even to this day. Posting a $40 oil change "deal" to a bargain-hunting forum, where most of us change oil ourselves or have never paid more than $20 to have it done.
